Have you ever marveled at a houseplant neatly wrapped in a ball of moss? Wondered how you can create your own? Kokedama is my most requested workshop and guest appearance request. Kokedama is a form of bonsai that utilizes moss as the planter. Plants can be set on a piece of pottery or suspended. This class will show you how to create and care for your own masterpiece in addition to sharing display inspirations. This workshop also makes a wonderful gift!
Class includes a shipped kokedama kit with moss, string, and a step-by-step booklet. Participants will supply their own plants. An idea kokedama plant list will be supplied after registration but you can also email me at email@example.com if you would like to purchase a specialty plant. I’ll be using an anthurium, my favorite kokedama plant, for the demonstration.
